MSUK Affiliated — Est. 1986

Britain's fastest
karts, on track.

The British Superkart Club runs the UK's national gearbox superkart championship — full-bodywork, 250cc machines lapping car circuits at speeds no other kart can touch.

01 — Classes

Who races

Four gearbox classes, one paddock. Every driver from club novice to national title-chaser has a grid to line up on.

DIV 1

250 International

160mph+

The pinnacle class. Twin-cylinder 250cc engines, six-speed sequential gearboxes, and the fastest kart lap times in the world on a full-size circuit.

DIV 2

250 National

140mph+

Single-cylinder 250cc power for a tighter, more accessible field — the traditional route into national-level superkart racing.

DIV 3

Formula 125

Entry class

125cc gearbox karts built for drivers stepping up from cadet or rental racing into full circuit-speed machinery.

CUP

Club Superkart

Non-license

A low-cost, club-licensed grid for drivers building race craft before committing to an MSUK national license.

03 — About Us

Run by racers,
for racers

The British Superkart Club is the governing home of gearbox superkart racing in the UK. We exist to keep this corner of motorsport — small grids, big speeds — alive, affordable, and properly organised, from club days to national championship rounds.

Every round is run to MSUK regulations on full-size race circuits, with timing, scrutineering, and race control handled by volunteers who race the same machines on a Sunday morning.
